How is RFID different from barcodes?
A barcode has to be seen and scanned one at a time. An RFID tag is read by radio, so a handheld reader picks up every tag in range at once, even inside a laundry bag or a closed cabinet.
How much does an RFID system cost?
It depends on how many items you tag, how many readers you need and whether you choose cloud or on-premise. Tell us your item count and sites and we'll send a quote.
Do I need to buy new linen or equipment?
No. We tag your existing linen and assets, either on site with our team or by training your staff.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Scans are stored on the device and upload by themselves when the connection returns.
Linen tracking (linenTrace)
What is linenTrace?
linenTrace is RFID linen tracking software made by WVINTECH SOLUTION in Malaysia. It tracks hospital and hotel linen through the laundry cycle with RFID tags, showing which items left, which came back, and which are missing or damaged.
How does it find missing linen?
Staff scan the tagged items into a batch when they leave for the laundry and scan them again when they come back. linenTrace compares the two scans and flags every item that did not return.
Do the RFID tags survive industrial washing?
Yes. We use sewn-in or heat-sealed UHF laundry tags made for industrial wash, dry and ironing cycles, so each item keeps the same ID for its working life.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Scans wait on the phone, tablet or handheld and upload by themselves when the connection returns. You can keep scanning in a basement linen room or during an outage.
Is it only for hotels?
No. linenTrace is used for hospital linen, OT gowns and scrubs, hotel and resort linen, staff uniforms and commercial laundry customers.
Can we track several properties?
Yes. Each hotel or hospital has its own separated data and users, and head office can see all of them.

Asset tracking (assetTrace)
What is assetTrace?
assetTrace is RFID asset tracking and audit software made by WVINTECH SOLUTION in Malaysia. It keeps a register of every tagged asset with its location, status, value and maintenance history.
How is an RFID audit faster than a barcode audit?
A handheld RFID reader reads every tag in range at once, without line of sight. Staff walk a room or warehouse zone and assetTrace immediately lists what was found, what is missing and what belongs somewhere else.
What kinds of assets can be tagged?
Equipment, tools, machines, racks, furniture, TVs, beds, medical devices, laptops and other IT assets. We use tags suited to metal, plastic or fabric surfaces.
Does it handle depreciation?
Yes. assetTrace keeps purchase cost, straight-line book value, maintenance cost and disposal records, and exports them to Excel or PDF.
Cloud or on-premise?
Both. Use our Malaysian-hosted cloud, install it on your own PC or server, or take a source licence if you have your own IT team.
RFID hardware supply
Which RFID frequency do you use?
We use UHF RFID (860–960 MHz), which reads many tags at once from a distance. It is the standard for laundry and asset tracking.
Can you supply hardware only?
Yes. If you already have software, we can supply and configure tags and readers on their own.
Do tags work on metal?
Standard tags do not read well on metal, so we use on-metal tags designed for machines, racks and steel equipment.
Deployment and support
How long does a rollout take?
It depends on how many items need tagging. Small sites can go live in days; larger hospitals and warehouses are usually done in phases.
Do you tag our existing stock?
Yes. We can tag and register existing linen or assets on site, or train your team to do it.
Where do you provide support?
We are based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor and support clients across Malaysia, on site or remotely.
Software integration
Can you connect to our hotel PMS or ERP?
Usually, yes. We scope each integration with your IT team based on what your system supports.
Can the software be customised?
Yes. As the developer, we can add fields, reports and workflows for your operation.
Who owns the data?
You do. You can export it at any time, and on-premise or source licences keep it entirely on your servers.
